Our Sound for Film course is a 6-week hands-on program designed to teach students the fundamentals of production sound and audio recording for filmmaking.
Students will:
Learn microphone types and recording techniques
Practice boom microphone operation
Capture dialogue and environmental sound
Understand sound workflow on a film set
Learn how audio supports storytelling and emotion
This course gives students real experience recording sound in production environments while teaching the importance of clean, professional audio in filmmaking. Students will learn how sound impacts the quality and emotional tone of a film while developing practical skills used on professional sets.
Tuition: $399 for 6 weeks
