Our Directing Fundamentals course is a 6-week hands-on program designed to introduce students to the creative and leadership role of a film director.
Students will:
Learn scene blocking and shot planning
Practice directing actors and performances
Explore visual storytelling through directing choices
Understand communication and leadership on set
Gain experience guiding scenes during filming exercises
This course helps students develop confidence as creative leaders while learning how directors shape performances, visuals, and storytelling during production. Students will participate in hands-on directing exercises that teach collaboration, creative decision-making, and how to guide both actors and crew toward a unified vision.
Tuition: $399 for 6 weeks
Annual Registration Fee: $35/student (max $50/family)
